Significant rains and gusty winds are anticipated in Karachi, Hyderabad, and parts of Sindh on Monday night and Tuesday, with occasional breaks.
According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), monsoon currents from the Bay of Bengal are penetrating the upper and eastern regions of Pakistan and are expected to move towards the central and southern parts of the country.
Under these conditions, substantial rains and gusty winds are forecasted for Tharparkar, Umarkot, Sanghar, Mirpur Khas, Mithi, Thatta, Badin, Sajawal, Chhor, Padidan, Mohenjodaro, Karachi, Jamshoro, Tando Muhammad Khan, Hyderabad, Shaheed Benazirabad, Sukkur, Khairpur, Shikarpur, Kashmore, Larkana, Jacobabad, and Dadu on Monday night. Heavy rainfall may also occur in isolated areas during this period.

On Tuesday, more intermittent rains and gusty winds are expected in Tharparkar, Umarkot, Sanghar, Mirpur Khas, Mithi, Thatta, Badin, Sajawal, Karachi, Jamshoro, Tando Muhammad Khan, Hyderabad, Shaheed Benazirabad, Sukkur, Khairpur, Shikarpur, Kashmore, Larkana, Jacobabad, and Dadu. Heavy rains may cause urban flooding in low-lying areas of Karachi and lower Sindh during the forecast period.
Karachi’s maximum temperature is expected to remain between 35-37°C on Tuesday and 34-36°C on Wednesday. Hyderabad’s maximum temperature is likely to be between 36-38°C on Tuesday and 35-37°C on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, hot and humid weather prevailed in most districts of Sindh over the last 24 hours, with isolated rainfall occurring in parts of the province.

Dadu was the hottest location in the province, with the maximum temperature reaching 45°C. In Sukkur and Mohenjo-Daro, the highest temperature recorded was 43°C, while Nawabshah saw a peak of 41°C.
Karachi recorded a maximum temperature of 35°C, with evening relative humidity at 70 percent. In Hyderabad, the maximum temperature was also 35°C, with evening relative humidity recorded at 73 percent.
