Intermittent rains and gusty winds are expected in Karachi and parts of Sindh on Monday night, Tuesday, and Wednesday (Muharram 9 and 10).
According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), monsoon currents from the Arabian Sea are likely to enter Pakistan on July 16, while a trough from a westerly wave is affecting the upper regions of the country. This system is expected to impact the western and southern areas starting tonight.
Under these conditions, intermittent rains and gusty winds may occur in isolated areas, including Tharparkar, Umarkot, Mithi, Mirpur Khas, Khairpur, Padidan, Sanghar, Thatta, Badin, Tando Allayar, Hyderabad, Ghotki, and Karachi on Monday night, Tuesday, and Wednesday. Elsewhere in the province, hot and humid weather is anticipated.
Karachi’s maximum temperature is expected to range between 35-37°C on Tuesday and 36-38°C on Wednesday.
In Hyderabad, the maximum temperature is forecasted to be between 37-39°C on Tuesday and 38-40°C on Wednesday.
Over the past 24 hours, hot and humid conditions have prevailed across most of the province, though rain and thunderstorms have been reported in isolated areas of lower Sindh.

Sukkur and Mohenjo-Daro remained the hottest places in the province where the maximum temperature was recorded at 42°C. Maximum temperature in Mithi and Nawabshah was recorded at 41°C.
In Karachi, maximum temperature was recorded at 37°C. Relative humidity during the evening was recorded at 60 percent.
In Hyderabad, maximum temperature was recorded at 40°C. Relative humidity during the evening was recorded at 42 percent.
