Federal Minister for Finance and Revenue Senator Muhammad Aurangzeb on Friday said that the whole world is recognizing Pakistan’s economic growth and progress which is a positive sign for the country.

Finance Minister Aurangzeb spoke to participants via video link after launching Green Sukuk Bonds worth Rs30 billion. These bonds, based on an Ijarah structure, will last for three years and offer a variable rental return. They are part of a sustainable investment plan.

He shared that during his recent visits to London and Washington, he had detailed talks with investors. According to him, investors are showing trust in Pakistan's economy, which is steadily improving. He also mentioned that the Pakistan Stock Exchange is performing very well and breaking records frequently.

Aurangzeb said foreign investors are interested in investing in Pakistan, but it’s important for the country to keep its economy stable and continue making reforms, especially in energy, taxes, and government-run businesses. He also mentioned that the government is working with different groups to prepare a strong and hopeful budget for the next financial year.
