While speaking on a podcast, Arbaaz Khan said Shaan Shahid ruled the industry as its top star, with his face alone selling cinema tickets. However, Arbaaz accused Shaan of not fulfilling his responsibilities toward the industry. He labeled him unprofessional, claiming Shaan would arrive at 3 p.m. for a shift scheduled from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., working only 2–3 hours a day. According to Arbaaz, Shaan’s chronic delays and inconsistent availability created major scheduling issues for producers. He stated that this unprofessional behavior significantly contributed to the film industry's decline, as it affected the quality of the final product. Arbaaz added that Shaan, despite his stardom, failed to support the industry as much as he should have.
