Punjab authorities have introduced new school timings starting February 1, 2024, which will be from 8:00 am to 2:30 pm. These adjusted hours are specific to the month of February, considering the conclusion of the severe cold wave along with rain.
According to the notification, boys' schools in Lahore and other cities will have classes from 8:30 am to 2:30 pm, while girls' schools will follow a schedule from 8:15 am to 2:15 pm.
New Schools Timings for Lahore 2024
Starting February 1, 2024, changes in school timings have been announced. On Fridays, boys' schools will conclude classes at 12:15 pm, while girls' schools will finish at 12:00 pm.
The adjustments also apply to schools with double shifts. These modifications come after the closure of educational institutions and postponed exams in December 2023 and January 2024 due to the deteriorating smog situation and cold wave.
