Pakistan received $3.5 billion in workers remittances in June 2026, which marks a 2.0 percent increase compared to June 2025.
However, remittances fell by 18.3 percent compared to May 2026, despite the monthly dip, the bigger picture stays positive. Total remittances for fiscal year 2026 (FY26) reached $41.6 billion. This is an 8.6 percent rise from the $38.3 billion recorded in FY25.
Saudi Arabia remained the top source of remittances in June. Overseas Pakistanis in the United Kingdom sent $829.6 million home. The United Arab Emirates followed closely with $792.2 million. Meanwhile, the United Kingdom contributed $514.9 million, and the United States sent $296.8 million.
These four countries continue to be the main corridors for remittance inflows, together they account for a large share of the money sent home by overseas Pakistani workers.
The steady annual growth reflects continued confidence among expatriates in formal banking channels. It also highlights the vital role remittances play in supporting Pakistan's economy. As FY26 draws to a close, the full year figures point to strong and consistent momentum.
