This incredible achievement unfolded on Thursday during a domestic T20 Trophy match in Dublin, where Campher's Munster Reds faced the North-West Warriors.
Campher's stunning performance was a pivotal factor in Munster Reds' dominant 100-run victory. The all-rounder began his destructive spell at the close of the 12th over, claiming the wickets of Jared Wilson and Graham Hume. Returning for the 14th over, he completed his hat-trick by dismissing Andy McBrine, then swiftly followed up by removing Robbie Millar and Josh Wilson, thus completing his unprecedented five-ball, five-wicket haul.
Reflecting on the surreal experience, Campher told Cricket Ireland, "I wasn’t really sure what was happening. I just kind of stuck to my guns and kept it real simple and luckily it kind of went off."
