Pakistan’s security forces successfully foiled an attempted infiltration by Indian-backed along the Pakistan-Afghanistan border, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).

During a targeted operation, the security forces detected the movement of a group of terrorists and launched an effective action. Eight Indian-sponsored foreign terrorists were killed, and weapons and ammunition were recovered from the site.

According to ISPR, the incident exposed the Afghan Taliban government’s failure in border monitoring. “There are serious concerns over Afghan territory being used for anti-Pakistan terrorist activities,” it added.

Pakistan’s security forces reiterated their unwavering resolve to defend the country and stated that sanitization operations in the area would continue, with actions intensified until terrorism is completely eradicated.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Operations

Separately, security forces eliminated 13 militants in two intelligence-based operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Wednesday.

The first operation was conducted in the Bara area of Khyber district, where 10 militants were killed during an intelligence-based raid. In a second operation in Bannu, security forces eliminated three more militants.
