President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Saturday commend the security forces for successfully eliminating six Khawarij terrorists during an operation in the Spinwam area of North Waziristan.
In a statement from the President's House, Zardari lauded the bravery of the Pakistan Army soldiers who sacrificed their lives in the fight against terrorism. He expressed gratitude for the patriotic spirit of the martyred soldiers, particularly honoring Lt Colonel Muhammad Shaukat and others who laid down their lives for the nation's defense.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif also honored the fallen soldiers—Lt Colonel Muhammad Shaukat, Lance Naik Muhammad Ullah, Lance Naik Akhtar Zaman, Lance Naik Shahid Ullah, Lance Naik Yousaf, and Sepoy Jameel Ahmed—who courageously faced the terrorists. He prayed for the elevation of the martyrs' ranks in Jannah and extended condolences to their families, emphasizing that the entire nation honors these brave souls.
Both leaders expressed their commitment to continuing operations against terrorism, recognizing the unmatched sacrifices made by the Pakistan Army in safeguarding the country. They prayed for patience for the bereaved families as they cope with their profound loss.
