Today marks the 67th martyrdom anniversary of Major Tufail Muhammad Shaheed, a true national hero and recipient of the Nishan-e-Haider, Pakistan’s highest military award.
Field Marshal Asim Munir, Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee, General Sahir Shamshad Mirza, and the Pakistan Armed Forces paid tribute to the brave soldier who sacrificed his life while fighting the enemy with extraordinary courage.
According to ISPR, Major Tufail’s bravery will always be remembered. His sacrifice for Pakistan’s security and independence is a source of pride for the entire nation.
The ISPR said, "Our martyrs are our pride. Their sacrifices have made Pakistan safe and strong. We will continue their sacred mission."
Major Tufail’s life and death remind us of the value of sacrifice for our country. His courage is a shining example for future generations. The armed forces and the nation will never forget the martyrs’ sacrifices.
His legacy teaches us that loving one’s country is the greatest act of faith. Today, we salute our heroes who gave their lives for the nation.
