LAHORE: Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi on Sunday revealed that Pakistan has video proof of all six Indian fighter jets shot down by the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) during the recent Marka-e-Haq conflict.
Speaking at a seminar titled “Global Impacts of Pakistan’s Military and Diplomatic Victories over India” held at Aiwan-e-Iqbal, Naqvi praised the armed forces, intelligence agencies, and national leadership for their role in Pakistan’s success during the May 2025 war.
He said that Pakistan’s intelligence agencies had advanced information about India’s plans, flight operations, and decisions, which helped counter every move. He said Pakistan delayed announcing the downing of the jets until it gathered solid evidence.
“The videos of all six destroyed Indian aircraft were secured within minutes, and I am disclosing this today,” Naqvi said. He added that although radar data was available instantly, the leadership waited for field evidence before going public.
Naqvi paid special tribute to the intelligence community, calling them “hidden soldiers” who silently played a decisive role. He also said the nation witnessed divine support during the war, pointing out that India fired seven missiles at a Pakistani military base but none hit the target.
“Faith and determination invite the help of Allah,” he remarked, praising Chief of Army Staff Field Marshal General Asim Munir for showing courage and striking multiple strategic targets inside India.
Recalling a meeting with a Saudi delegation, Naqvi quoted General Munir as saying India was like a “shiny car” and Pakistan a “loaded dumper,” suggesting the outcome of their clash was inevitable.
The minister highlighted the unity of Pakistan’s civil and military leadership during the war, contrasting it with India’s divisions, where top military officials reportedly held separate meetings with Prime Minister Modi. He also accused Indian leaders Ajit Doval and Amit Shah of staging the Pulwama attack as a “false flag drama” to ignite conflict, warning that such policies would backfire on India.
Naqvi praised the political consensus in Pakistan, saying all parties stood united, while PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari’s diplomatic efforts carried weight internationally. In contrast, India’s delegation reportedly struggled abroad.
He further accused India of sponsoring terrorism in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, claiming Pakistan has strong evidence of New Delhi’s involvement. He vowed that Pakistan would continue to support the Kashmir cause until Kashmiris receive their UN-promised right to self-determination.
Naqvi ended by commending Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Asim Munir for standing firm against international pressure after the downing of Indian jets. He said Pakistan’s current political and military setup should continue to ensure stability and progress.
