ISLAMABAD: A young TikToker, Sana Yousaf, originally from Chitral, was shot and killed in the federal capital, Islamabad.
According to Islamabad Police, the incident took place in Sector G-13, within the jurisdiction of the Sumbal Police Station. Initial reports indicate that an unidentified assailant broke into her residence and opened fire, fatally wounding her.
The spokesperson for Islamabad Police confirmed the location of the incident and stated that a detailed investigation is underway to identify and apprehend the perpetrator.
Police officials have confirmed that the distressing incident occurred in Sector G-13. Initial reports indicate that Sana Yusuf was shot multiple times inside her own home.
The LEA quickly responded to the scene after being alerted and the body was promptly moved to Pakistan Institute of Medical Science Hospital (PIMS) for a post-mortem examination a standard procedure in such serious cases.
Police now say the person who killed Sana Yusuf was actually a guest at her house. This person shot her and then quickly ran away.
Malik Asif, the main police officer at Sumbal Police Station mentioned that the attacker seemed to know Sana Yusuf because they were let into her home like a visitor.
Authorities have launched a comprehensive investigation into the murder exploring various angles to piece together what happened.
The police spokesperson has assured that updates on the investigations progress will be shared with the media. The victim Sana Yusuf, was reportedly living with her family in Sector G-13. In a miserable detail it was noted that she had uploaded a video from Islamabad to her Instagram just hours before the tragic incident.
