LAHORE: The Lahore High Court(LHC) declared Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan's physical remand in 12 cases of May 9 null and void.
The petitions against physical remand in 12 cases of founder PTI were heard by a 2-member bench comprising of Justice Tariq Saleem and Justice Anwar-ul-Haq of the Lahore High Court, while the Prosecutor General Punjab gave arguments in the case.
In the hearing, Justice Tariq Saleem Sheikh said that you cannot force the accused to undergo photogrammatic test, while Justice Anwar ul Haq Pannun remarked that when did you get the idea that modern devices should be used now.
Prosecutor General Punjab Farhad Ali Shah said in his arguments that the facility of photogrammatic test is inside the jail and should not be taken outside.
The Prosecutor General said that the PTI founder made a special narrative out of the tweets, the recovery of those tweets and WhatsApp messages from mobile phones is not possible without investigation.

Later, the court ruled against Imran Khan's physical remand in 12 cases and declared the physical remand null and void and also nullified the notification of attendance on the video link of founder PTI.
