The event, held to honor the 40th day after their grandmother’s passing, reportedly cost 1.25 crore Pakistani rupees, leaving many questioning the family’s financial claims.
According to TOI, the feast featured a lavish menu, including traditional dishes like Siri Paye, mutton, naan matar ganj (sweet rice), and desserts. A massive 250 goats were sacrificed to feed the guests, and the family arranged 2,000 vehicles to transport attendees to the venue near Rahwali Railway Station. Videos showcasing the scale and splendor of the event quickly went viral, sparking widespread debate online.
Social media reactions were divided. Some praised the family’s hospitality and generosity, while others questioned the apparent contradiction in their financial situation.
