GHOTKI: The Ghotki police arrested an accused in the murder case of journalist Nasrullah Gadani.
An accused involved in the murder case of a journalist who was killed in a murderous attack in Mirpur Mathelo was arrested by the police from the Yaro Lund area.
According to the police, the motorcycle used in the journalist's murder was also recovered from the arrested accused, while the accused has been shifted to an unknown location for investigation.
Police officials said that raids are being conducted to arrest the associates of the accused and soon they will arrest other accused involved in the Nasrullah Gadani murder case.
It should be remembered that Nasrullah Gadani, a journalist from Mirpur Mathelo, was shot dead on May 21, after which he was shifted to Karachi for treatment, where he succumbed to his injuries.
Earlier, a petition was filed in the Sindh High Court for a judicial inquiry into the murder of journalist Nasrullah Gadani.
Chief Secretary Sindh, Home Department, IG Sindh Police, and others have been made parties in the petition filed in the Sindh High Court for the judicial inquiry into the murder of journalist Nasrullah Gadani.
It has been argued by the petitioner Majid Gabol Advocate and others that on May 21, journalist Nasrullah Gadani was shot dead by a motorcycle-riding accused in Mirpur Mathelo.

It has been stated in the petition that when the people of the area came to save journalist Nasrullah Gadani, the accused drove them away by firing in the air. The killing of journalist Nasrullah Gadani is an open act of terrorism by local feudal. The case of attack on Nasrullah Gadani was registered after seven days to spoil the case.
