Pakistani actress Rabya Kulsoom recently spoke candidly about trust and fidelity in relationships, stating that no one can stop another person from being unfaithful if they are determined to cheat. The actress shared her thoughts during a podcast appearance alongside her husband, Rehan Kazim, offering rare insights into their personal life and marriage of ten years.
During the podcast, Rabya reflected on the limits of control in a relationship, emphasizing the importance of trust and personal values over surveillance or suspicion. She also credited mutual understanding and honesty as key pillars of their lasting bond.
“I believe one thing: if someone wants to do something wrong, they will go to any length to do it; one person cannot stop another,” Rabya said during the conversation.
She added, “If my husband wants to do something wrong, I can't stop him. Even I would go to great lengths I would lie, I would get a second phone.”
Rabya further noted that her husband has always had faith in her. “Rehan trusts me because I’m the kind of woman who would slap anyone who crosses the line,” she remarked. “And he himself is not the kind of person who would double-cross anyone.”
The couple also shared the story of how they first met, with Rabya crediting her brother for the introduction. Rehan, who was a friend of her brother, admitted he was inspired by a popular Bollywood film when pursuing Rabya.
“I was inspired by the scene in Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge where Shah Rukh Khan enters the wedding house and impresses Kajol,” Rehan shared. “I did the same thing.”
He confessed that he had feelings for Rabya from the very beginning and was determined to marry her. Now happily married for a decade, the couple reflected on the strength and simplicity of their relationship.
Closing on a light-hearted note, Rehan shared his relaxed approach to life and marriage: “I am a very peace-loving man. One problem in life is enough; I don’t have time to manage another. I am happy with just one.”
