On Sunday, Karachi enjoyed pleasant weather after experiencing light to moderate rainfall and occasional heavy thundershowers in different areas.

The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) forecasts more rain on April 17 and 18 because of westerly winds. Nazimabad had the most rain at 21.2 mm, followed by Gulshan-e-Hadid at 20 mm.

Other areas also received varying amounts of rainfall. Temperatures ranged from 28 to 30 degrees Celsius after the showers. Radar and satellite data showed more rain clouds moving in.

Rural Sindh districts like Jamshoro and Dadu might also see thundershowers. Saturday was cloudy in Karachi with a high of 32.6 degrees Celsius and 66% humidity.

Mithi had the highest temperature at 39.5 degrees Celsius. The PMD had predicted rain and gale on Sunday, following thunderstorms in the city's outskirts on Saturday.
