SAUDI ARABIA: The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has announced a new mobile registration drive to assist Pakistani citizens living in Saudi Arabia.
The service will be available on July 25 and 26, 2025, in Dammam, operating from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM on both Friday and Saturday in collaboration with the Pakistan Embassy.
The mobile registration team will be stationed at Tamimi New Camp, Dhahran, Eastern Province, offering services to Pakistanis who need to apply for new NICOPs (National Identity Cards for Overseas Pakistanis) or renew and update existing documents. Location details are available on NADRA’s official digital platforms.
This initiative is part of NADRA’s ongoing efforts to bring identity services closer to overseas Pakistanis. It’s the third major step in recent months following the launch of a permanent service desk at the Pakistan Embassy in Riyadh earlier this year.
The mobile team’s arrival has been warmly welcomed by the Pakistani community in Saudi Arabia, who view it as a convenient and much-needed step to avoid the hassle of traveling back home for essential documentation.
In another recent move, NADRA rolled out significant updates to its national registration policy to strengthen the security and legal recognition of identity documents—especially for children and families.
Under the new policy, B-Forms will no longer be accepted for children’s passport applications. Instead, parents must now obtain a Child Registration Certificate (CRC) for their children to apply for a passport.
Officials say this shift ensures every child has a distinct, verified identity, enhancing the integrity and reliability of NADRA’s national database.
Together, these initiatives underline NADRA’s commitment to serving Pakistanis at home and abroad, making vital documentation more accessible than ever before.
