Renowned bodybuilder and actress Jayne Trcka, famed for her iconic portrayal of Miss Mann in Scary Movie, has died at 62, sending shockwaves through the entertainment and fitness communities.

Her passing on December 12 in San Diego was confirmed by her son, while the San Diego County Medical Examiner’s Office continues to investigate the cause.

Authorities revealed that a friend, alarmed after failing to contact Trcka for several days, discovered her unresponsive in her kitchen.

Emergency responders pronounced her dead at the scene. Her son confirmed that she had no known medical conditions or prior health warnings that might have foreshadowed this sudden loss.

Jayne Trcka had carved a path from elite bodybuilding in the 1980s to Hollywood, making a lasting impression with her memorable screen presence.

She gained mainstream recognition for her role as the no-nonsense gym teacher Miss Mann in Scary Movie, which became one of the film’s most celebrated moments.

Following her cinematic debut, Jayne Trcka also appeared in television programs including The Drew Carey Show and Whose Line Is It Anyway?. Outside of acting, she pursued a career in real estate in California and was widely featured in prominent fitness magazines such as Flex, MuscleMag International, and Women’s Physique World, celebrated for her dedication and athleticism.

Jayne Trcka is remembered not only for her groundbreaking journey from the bodybuilding stage to Hollywood but also for leaving a lasting impression on audiences with her dedication, discipline, and iconic performances.
