Heath Ledger, the actor famous for his powerful performances, died 18 years ago, leaving fans and the film industry in deep sadness. On his death anniversary, people are remembering him for the roles that made him one of cinema’s most respected stars.

Ledger was born in Australia in 1979 and began his acting career in the 1990s. He slowly built his reputation, but his major breakthrough came with the 2005 film Brokeback Mountain. In the movie, he played Ennis Del Mar, a role that showed a new side of his talent. His calm and emotional acting was praised by both audiences and critics.

After this success, Ledger appeared in several well-known films, including 10 Things I Hate About You, King Arthur, Casanova, I’m Not There, and The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus.

His career reached its peak with The Dark Knight, where he played the Joker. His version of the character was intense, disturbing, and unforgettable. His appearance, strange behavior, and chilling laugh made a strong impact, and many still consider it the best Joker performance ever.

Despite his success, Ledger was struggling personally. In 2008, the world was shocked by the news of his death due to drug misuse. He was only 28 years old. He is survived by his daughter Matilda, whom he shared with actress Michelle Williams, and he left behind a lasting legacy in cinema.
