This year, local car manufacturers have made significant progress in introducing electric vehicles to Pakistan. BYD is also planning to launch its EVs in the country soon. In March 2024, Hyundai Nishat unveiled its first premium luxury electric vehicle, the “IONIQ 6,” in Pakistan.
Recently, the company announced that it is ready to deliver the vehicles to customers who placed orders. A large number of these cars were seen at Emporium Mall in Lahore. Previously, the company imported test units to evaluate their performance on local roads.
