Recently, at filmmaker Altaf Hussain’s movie launch event, Babra Sharif expressed her concerns about the decline of the film industry and discussed the need for its revival.
Babra Sharif said, “We have never talked about Karachi, Peshawar and Lahore, we worked for our industry. We should not talk about this divide. We are here because of Altaf Hussain who has taught us a lot. You always talk about revival, how can you revive the film industry without watching the movies. You should watch all his films that always gave social messages, he hasn’t ever made violent films. Altaf Hussain Saab taught me rhythm and dance, he’s striving for the revival of film industry. It’s not revival, we all are doing efforts, these are small steps towards revival, we never talked about the division of the industry. Don’t be part of this divide, just keep on making films, I hope Altaf Hussain will make a good film like he used to make before”
