Pakistan’s Diplomatic Push on Palestine: Ishaq Dar holds key talks at UN Conference in New York

Pakistan is actively participating in the ongoing high-level United Nations conference on Palestine, with Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar leading the country’s delegation in New York.

The three-day conference, taking place from July 28 to 30, is focused on finding a peaceful resolution to the Palestine issue through the implementation of the two-state solution. The event is jointly hosted by Saudi Arabia and France, with Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud and French Minister Jean-Noël Barrot presiding over the sessions.

Ishaq Dar is expected to present Pakistan’s position during the plenary session of the General Assembly, reaffirming the country’s longstanding support for the Palestinian people and their right to statehood.

On the sidelines of the conference, the Deputy Prime Minister will also hold important bilateral meetings with top officials from Egypt, Kuwait, Bangladesh, Jordan, and the Prime Minister of Palestine, Dr. Mohammad Mustafa.

In addition, Ishaq Dar will address Pakistani journalists based in the U.S. during a special press briefing at Pakistan’s Mission in New York. He will share key updates from the conference and shed light on Pakistan’s diplomatic stance regarding the Palestinian issue.

This engagement highlights Pakistan’s continued commitment to international diplomacy and its proactive efforts to support peace and justice for Palestine.
