Khawaja Asif mocks Afghan Government with Modi’s picture after border clash

Defence Minister Khawaja Asif took a sharp jab at the Afghan government following Pakistan’s strong military response to recent border aggression. Sharing a post on X (formerly Twitter) with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s photo, he sarcastically captioned it, “They got you too!” a remark that quickly went viral online.

Khawaja Asif, known for his bold and outspoken political style, once again made headlines for his unapologetic tone. His tweet appeared soon after Pakistan’s armed forces decisively countered Afghan attacks along the border, inflicting heavy losses on the aggressors.

The Defence Minister’s post drew wide attention, with international media picking it up as a reflection of Pakistan’s firm stance and frustration over Afghanistan’s growing ties with India.

Khawaja Asif has long been recognized for his blunt remarks on both domestic and foreign issues, and his latest tweet further reinforced his reputation for speaking his mind without hesitation.
