Defence Minister Khawaja Asif said that the recent drop in electricity prices and inflation is nothing short of a miracle.
Speaking at a ceremony in Sialkot, he mentioned that while there were predictions of Pakistan facing bankruptcy, the PML-N, with the help of its allies, managed to steer the country out of difficult times.
He pointed out that while the American stock market recently crashed, Pakistan’s stock market has been steadily rising.
Khawaja Asif also criticized the PTI, claiming there are widespread reports of corruption in the PTI-led government in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. He said the PTI was removed from power through a no-confidence vote, after which the PDM worked hard for the country’s progress.
Khawaja Asif noted that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan are currently experiencing a wave of terrorism, and paid tribute to the armed forces for their sacrifices in defending the country.
