Chief Minister Gandapur directed relevant authorities to finalize plans for the free Wi-Fi service, which will require provincial government approval. He also hinted at the possibility of extending the service to other cities in the future, demonstrating a forward-looking approach to technology integration in public spaces.
Alongside the Wi-Fi initiative, the meeting also discussed the launch of a bus rapid transit (BRT) service on Nasir Bagh Road. This strategic move is expected to greatly enhance citizens' travel experiences and contribute to improved transportation infrastructure in Peshawar.
