ISLAMABAD: The federal government has decided to establish a National Artificial Intelligence Fund to promote and support AI technologies in the country.
According to details, 30% of the Ignite Research and Development Fund will be allocated to the new AI fund, which aims to boost innovation, development, and application of artificial intelligence solutions across various sectors.
According to the document, the Center of Excellence Network will also be set up in Artificial Intelligence in different cities.
The Center of Excellence will be set up in Islamabad, Karachi and Lahore, while the proposal for the establishment of the Innovation Fund and Venture Fund for innovation in the field of artificial intelligence is also under consideration.
