KARACHI: The Election Commission of Pakistan(ECP) has ordered re-counting at 4 polling stations of Karachi's Constituency NA 231 Malir.
Recounting at 4 polling stations of Karachi NA 231 Millar will be held on October 11, the Election Commission has issued a recount notice to the candidates.
According to the Election Commission, re-counting will take place in polling stations No. 65, 71, 98 and 175 of NA-231.
Abdul Hakeem Baloch of PPP won from NA 231 Malir by a margin of 389 votes.
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) backed Khalid Mahmood Ali challenged Abdul Hakeem Baloch's victory.

It should be remembered that the court ordered a recount at 4 polling stations.
Earlier, The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has released the schedule for the by-elections on vacated seat PB-8 Sibi constituency , Balochistan.
According to the announcement issued by the ECP, the seat fell vacant after the death of Sardar Sarfraz Chakar Domki. The polling for the by-elections of PB-8 Sibi will be held on November 14, while the Returning Officer will issue public notices on September.
The announcement said that from October 2 to October 4, the candidates will submit their nomination papers, while the names of the candidates will be published on October 5 and the nomination papers of the candidates will be scrutinized by October 9.
