Expressing urgency, Abbasi called upon the Karachi Commissioner to promptly issue a notification reflecting the adjusted prices in alignment with the heightened expenses associated with milk production. He emphasized that if authorities fail to announce the price adjustment by May 10, stakeholders will be compelled to take matters into their own hands and collectively agree on implementing the price hike.
Recently, the Karachi Commissioner issued a notification pertaining to the pricing of essential food items. In accordance with directives from Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah, a price control program was introduced to regulate prices through a specified list.

As outlined in the notification, the prices of dairy farm milk were established at Rs. 180 for wholesale and Rs. 200 for retail per liter, indicating an effort to maintain stability amidst market fluctuations.
