She also admitted that the second marriage ended in divorce because she did not want to live with her husband anymore. The singer said that she became a successful singer only with the help of her second husband, as he helped her and brought her from the village to the city. Sanam said that her husband was her cousin, who lived in the village but then moved to Lahore to bring her into singing.
