The United Arab Emirates (UAE) government has announced an increase in new petrol and diesel prices for the upcoming month of July 2025.
The increase in petroleum prices is due to global oil prices rising sharply earlier in June after a conflict broke out between Iran and Israel.
Prices went up even more when the US carried out strikes on three nuclear sites in Tehran. Brent crude went above $80 a barrel after the US attacks but then started to drop when Trump announced a ceasefire between Iran and Israel.
Despite this, the ongoing uncertainty in the global oil market has led the government to raise petroleum prices for July 2025.
New Petrol, Diesel Prices from July 1
The UAE has increased the price of Super 98 petrol to Dh2.70 per litre, up from Dh2.58 in June.
Similarly, the price of Special 95 petrol has risen to Dh2.58 per litre, compared to Dh2.47 before. In addition, E-Plus 91 petrol will now cost Dh2.51 per litre, up from Dh2.39 in June.
Diesel will now cost Dh2.63 a litre, compared to the current price of Dh2.45 a litre.

The Gulf country revised the petroleum prices every month to make them align with the international oil prices.
