Master Changan Motors Limited has reached a significant milestone by producing 40,000 vehicles in Pakistan. This highlights the brand's increasing impact in the Pakistani market.
The celebration for this achievement took place at Changan's plant in Karachi, which is currently the main right-hand drive facility for the leading Chinese automaker.
The Bin Qasim plant is also a crucial part of Changan's global supply chain and has previously marked export milestones. The 40,000 units consist of various vehicle types, including SUVs, sedans, MPVs, and pickups.
Master Changan's success is attributed to its widespread presence in 18 cities with 29 dealers, a strong after-sales and spare parts network, localization efforts, and a robust supply chain collaboration with the Chinese principals. Established in 2018 with a USD 136 million investment, Master Changan is a joint venture between Master Group and China's top domestic automaker.
