How to block unwanted calls with no caller ID

Dealing with persistent blocked or unknown callers can be very frustrating, especially when it happens repeatedly. If someone is seeking a way to stop these annoying spam calls and uncover the Caller ID behind them, here are some effective methods:

Blocking calls with no caller ID

This method is ideal if you prefer not to interact with hidden caller IDs from unknown numbers. Both Android and iOS devices have features that allow you to block numbers without a Caller ID. Setting this up is simple, and here’s how you can do it:

Blocking unwanted calls on iPhone (iOS 13 or later)

  1. Open the phone's Settings.
  2. Scroll down and tap on Phone.
  3. Select Silence Unknown Callers and turn it on.
Once enabled, all calls without a Caller ID will be automatically blocked on an iPhone. This setting will stay active until you decide to change it.

Blocking unwanted calls on Android

  1. Open the phone's dialer.
  2. Tap the three vertical dots at the top or middle-right side of the screen.
  3. Select Settings.
  4. Choose Block numbers.
  5. Enable the Block unknown callers option.
Following these steps will help ensure that calls without a Caller ID are blocked on your device.
