The Punjab School Education Department has announced a complete ban on winter camps in all schools across the province during the winter holidays.
The ban applies to both private and government schools, with the aim of ensuring compliance throughout the vacation period. Instead, online classes have been permitted as an alternative to maintain students' academic progress.
Education department officers have been tasked with strictly enforcing the ban and taking action against violators. The department warned that any attempt to bypass the directive by organizing winter camps would result in strict penalties. "No school, whether private or government, is allowed to hold winter camps during the holidays," the department emphasized.
Winter vacations in schools across Punjab have been scheduled from December 23 to January 13, 2025. The revised holiday schedule applies to all public and private schools in the province.
