The initiative encompasses the establishment of solar parks across Sindh, with one significant park near Karachi expected to generate 50 MG of electricity. This electricity will be supplied to Electric, enhancing user convenience. Moreover, residents in these areas will benefit from electricity services provided by HESCO and SEPCO. The government is also exploring the potential of waste-to-energy conversion, with concrete plans for implementation in the near future.
The upcoming budget is being crafted in accordance with Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari's 10-point agenda, which includes providing 300 units of free electricity to the public through solarization.
Minister Shah expressed regret that the federal mandate was not granted, as these initiatives could have been extended nationwide for the benefit of all. He commended the police's proactive measures in the Kacha area, where their efforts against criminal elements have saved numerous lives.
