Six terrorists (khwarij) were killed during an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in Kalat, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said.
According to the Inter Services Public Realtions (ISPR), during the conduct of the operation, own troops effectively engaged the terrorists’ location, and after an intense fire exchange, six terrorists were successfully neutralized.
The eliminate terrorists had been actively engaged in recent attacks targeting law enforcement agencies and innocent civilians in the area, said ISPR.
ISPR stated that weapons and ammunition were also recovered from the killed khwarij, who remained actively involved in numerous terrorist activities against the Security Forces as well as innocent civilians.
Sanitization operation is being conducted to eliminate any other Kharji found in the area as the security forces of Pakistan are determined to wipe out the menace of terrorism from the country, said ISPR.
