ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) has announced its support to the protest of the Jamaat-I-Islami against the aggression and atrocities of Israel in Gaza and other Arab countries on Oct 7 across the country.
The agreement has been reached between two parties when the JI delegation met PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan on Tuesday.
The JI would hold protests on the completion of one year of Israel's atrocities in Gaza on October 7.
Talking to media, the PTI chairman said that the PTI had old relationship with the JI, adding that Liaquat Baloch was proposer of the name of opposition alliance "Tehreek Tahafuz Aaieen-e-Pakistan".
He said that the both parties also considered the government's undemocratic attitude and its illegal attempt to amend the Constitution.
He further said that the PTI and JI had the same opinion about the constitutional amendments. "No amendment should be made for personal interests in the dark of night," the PTI chairman maintained.
