KARACHI: The Sindh Governor Mohammed Kamran Khan Tessori on Friday administered an oath to Justice Muhammad Junaid Ghaffar as Acting Chief Justice (CJ) of the Sindh High Court (SHC) at Governor House Sindh.
The oath taking ceremony was attended by the Judges of Sindh High Court, senior lawyers and others.
Meanwhile, Justice SM Atiq Shah took the oath of office as the Acting Chief Justice of the Peshawar High Court.
The oath was administered by Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Faisal Karim Kundi here at Governor House.
The oath-taking ceremony was attended by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sardar Ali Amin Khan Gandapur, along with other notable dignitaries.

Earleir, President Asif Ali Zardari administrated oath of office from Acting Chief Justice Islamabad High Court Justice Sarfaraz Dogar.
Acting Chief Justice Islamabad High Court was sworn in in the Presidency of Islamabad, attended by lawyers, judges and government figures.
After the appointment of former Chief Justice Islamabad High Court Justice Aamer Farooq to the Supreme Court, Justice Sarfaraz Dogar was approved to appoint Acting Chief Justice Islamabad High Court.
Justice Sarfaraz Dogar will fulfill the duties of acting Chief Justice till the appointment of a permanent Chief Justice of the Islamabad High Court.
