Frankel, alum of “The Real Housewives of New York City”, revealed that she hadn’t considered leaving her house until a series of events pushed her to act. She moved to Florida with her 14-year-old daughter, Bryn, whom she shares with ex-husband Jason Hoppy. She explained that she had bought her previous home as a massive property, thinking she would one day have a big family.
However, Frankel admitted that living there with just her daughter felt lonely. “The house was drowning me,” she said. She described the property as a historic home with an apple orchard and everything that would be “amazing” for a big family with kids and grandparents.
On the contrary, Frankel spent a lot of time alone because she didn’t know anyone in the community. “It was lonely,” she admitted. She chose to stop living alone and simplify her life.
Frankel lived in her beautiful house with an idea that didn’t match reality. Even though her decision to simplify her life complicated things for someone else, she prioritized her mental peace. The reality star admitted she had originally planned to wait until her daughter went to college.
A specific moment pushed Frankel to change her mind. “This situation was drowning me and something else was distracting her, and neither of us would say it out loud because this is just what it was,” she explained in her video. When the situation began affecting her daughter, Frankel chose to be honest with herself and made the tough decision to move.
