In her Instagram caption, Archana fondly recalled their earlier interactions, writing, “When I saw Rekhaji’s Sawan Bhadon, I was just a kid from a small town with little hope of ever meeting her, let alone working with her!”

She described a memorable moment when Rekha invited her to her makeup room during the filming of Ladai (1989), offering advice on makeup, including how to apply fake eyelashes, a trend Rekha is often credited with starting in Bollywood.
Archana went on to describe a light-hearted conversation they had at Filmcity, where Rekha teased her about a mysterious "he." “I asked Rekhaji who this 'he' was, and she countered with a playful, ‘You don’t know who HE is?’” Archana wrote, recalling Rekha’s irrepressible charm and warm nature.
“She is a living legend,” Archana added, expressing how special it has been to meet Rekha over the years.
