Lahore—With its rich blend of historical landmarks, scenic resorts, and diverse entertainment offerings, Turkiye stands out as a highly sought-after tourist destination. Each year, a significant number of Pakistani citizens travel to Turkiye for leisure purposes, necessitating the acquisition of a visit visa for entry into the country.
In Pakistan, applicants must apply for a Turkiye visit visa through the Anatolia Visa Application Centers. Required documentation includes bank statements, health insurance, photographs, fingerprints, flight itineraries, hotel reservations, and other relevant paperwork.
Visa fees for Pakistani and foreign nationals are payable in cash in Pakistani Rupees (PKR), based on the exchange rate determined by the State Bank of Pakistan on the previous day. As of July 15, the embassy fee for a single-entry visit visa to Turkiye stands at $60, equivalent to approximately Rs16,706, while the fee for a multiple-entry visa is $190, approximately Rs52,903.
Additionally, the Anatolia Visa Application Centre charges service fees depending on the chosen application category. Normal application processing incurs a fee of $65, whereas VIP application services are priced at $80.
Health insurance is compulsory for all Turkiye visit visa applicants. According to embassy guidelines, visitors must obtain “Turkiye Incoming Travel Health Insurance” for periods of three months, six months, or one year exclusively through Anatolia Visa Application Centers in Pakistan. External insurance policies are not accepted, and the visa application submission date must align with the start date of the health insurance coverage.
These regulations ensure a streamlined visa application process and compliance with health insurance requirements for Pakistani travelers heading to Turkiye.
