NICOP fees for Pakistanis residing in the UK, starting April 2024

Pakistanis living in the UK can go to the Pakistan High Commission in London or its consulates in Birmingham, Manchester, and Bradford to apply for their Smart National Identity Card for Overseas Pakistanis (SNICOP). This card is available to Pakistani citizens abroad or those with dual nationality. Having this card comes with various benefits and rewards for the holders.

Requirements for Pakistanis to Get NICOP in UK

The Pakistani community in the UK must meet certain criteria to obtain the NICOP:

Schedule an appointment online via the Pakistan High Commission's website.
Visit in person for a live photo and biometric verification.
Bring one of these documents: Original Pakistani Passport, Old ID Card, Domicile Certificate, or Matriculation Certificate issued from Pakistan.
For first-time applicants, provide a detailed birth certificate with parents' names. Birth certificates without this information won't be accepted.
Provide the CNIC/NICOP card of Father and Mother (updated after marriage) or a real sibling with physical presence if applying for the first time.
Have a valid Pakistani or foreign passport.
For marital status changes, present Nikkah Nama/Marriage Certificate or divorce/death certificate if divorced/widowed.
For modifying date of birth (DOB), submit valid documents like passports, BRP, visas, etc., or a court order.
A court order from a Pakistani Court of Law is necessary for updating parentage name.
If no blood relative with NICOP/CNIC is available, finger prints of any Pakistani citizen with CNIC/NICOP are needed as a witness, and the case will be verified further in Pakistan.
