The MG HS, a popular stylish crossover, has become more expensive along with several other cars in Pakistan following the government's approval of a new withholding tax on all vehicles.
The new withholding tax on locally assembled cars has increased as the government takes extreme measures to boost revenue. With the latest amendments, registration charges will now be calculated based on the invoice price of the car rather than the engine capacity.
MG Pakistan has announced the increased prices for the MG HS in response to the imposition of this tax.
