Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has openly accused the United States and Israel of fueling unrest and chaos inside Iran to serve their own interests.

Speaking to Iranian media, President Pezeshkian said that for the sake of national security and public peace, Iranian citizens should stay away from rioters and terrorists and not allow disorder to spread in the country.

He assured the public that the government is making serious efforts to ensure justice and address public concerns. The president stressed that no foreign power should be allowed to sow instability in Iran and urged the nation to remain united to protect the country.

The Iranian president also said that the government is taking strict action against the roots of corruption and called on all citizens not to spread insecurity or harm others.

Criticizing the US president, Pezeshkian said the United States should be ashamed of its actions in Venezuela, Gaza, and other countries.

In a statement released by the Iranian embassy highlighting key points from the president’s address, it was said that the government is doing everything possible to improve people’s lives and has urged all segments of society to stand united against unrest.

It is worth noting that protests in Iran have entered their 14th day. According to an Iranian human rights organization, at least 192 people have been killed during the demonstrations over the past two weeks.
