Did the news show the wrong killer? Real face of Sana Yousuf’s murderer revealed

  • A magazine apologizes for sharing incorrect information about the alleged murderer, Umar Hayat.
  • Acknowledges reliance on ARY News for details, stating the earlier report was false.
  • Emphasizes commitment to transparency and accepting responsibility for spreading misinformation.
A popular magazine has publicly apologized after initially sharing incorrect information about the alleged murderer of 17-year-old TikToker Sana Yousuf. The platform admitted it relied on ARY News for details about the accused, Umar Hayat, assuming it to be a credible source. However, it has now acknowledged that the earlier report was false.

In a statement, the magazine emphasized its commitment to transparency, accepting responsibility for spreading misinformation. “We believed the report from ARY, but we now know that trust was misplaced. We’re here to correct the record and stand by the truth,” the platform stated.

Alongside the apology, the magazine released what it claims to be the real image of the alleged killer, Umar Hayat. Labeling him as a “beast,” the publication called on the public to make his picture viral across social media platforms.

The call for justice echoes widespread public outrage over Sana Yousuf’s murder, which has sparked national debate about safety, femicide, and media responsibility.
