The match between Pakistan and France ended in a 3-3 draw during regular time. Pakistan’s goals came from Afraz, Sufyan, and Rana Waheed, each scoring one goal for the team.
With the score level, the outcome was decided through a penalty shootout. Pakistan kept its nerves and emerged victorious with a 3-2 scoreline in the shootout, earning their spot in the final.
The second semi-final of the tournament will be played later today between New Zealand and South Korea. The winner of that match will face Pakistan in the final on June 21”, which will take place at the National Hockey Stadium in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
