Renowned Pakistani singer Atif Aslam lost his father, Chaudhry Muhammad Aslam, who passed away in Lahore after a long illness.
Family sources said Chaudhry Muhammad Aslam had been unwell for quite some time. His death is a deep personal loss for the award-winning singer, who has often spoken about the love and support he received from his parents throughout his career.
The funeral prayers will be held today in Valencia Town, Lahore, where relatives, friends, and well-wishers are expected to gather to offer their condolences and pay their respects.
Just a night before the tragedy, Atif Aslam had performed at the Azadi Concert at Governor House in Karachi, singing some of his most popular songs.
