In a recent media interaction, Ayesha’s lawyer, Asim, shared important details about the case. He provided insights into the reasons behind the physical abuse and the ongoing legal proceedings.

Talking about it, Ayesha Jehanzeb’s lawyer Asim Mumtaz said, “Well, this domestic violence case was quite obvious. My client Ayesha was badly beaten up by her husband even then we faced a lot of difficulties in getting our medical done. Here, Haris Ali is an obvious culprit who has hit her, abused her dragged her from hair and we have all the proofs but even then we faced obstacles in registering the FIR. Our case is completely obvious with all the details. Haris Ali was the one who took money from my client, took her mother’s property and when Ayesha demanded her property and money back, she was subjected to domestic violence by her husband who owes a lot of money. We are lucky that the government has taken notice of it but it can’t heal the pain she has gone through. He is now arrested and his non bailable warrants have been issued too. Now, we want to get the details of the weapons that were used in violence and the court has given the time for that”.
