Talking about questions that should never be asked, she said, “People used to ask in our times, ‘Are you expecting?’ or ‘When are you planning to have children?’ soon after marriage. Besides this, they would ask questions like ‘Why aren’t you becoming parents?’ Another question often asked was, ‘Why aren’t you getting married?’ or ‘When will you get married? What’s the reason behind not getting married or breaking up?’ These questions should not be asked at all; one should not get into the personal details of marriages. Don’t ask about salaries either—these things should be strictly avoided. People even ask women whose husbands have been married twice, which should not be asked.”
