The Sindh government has initiated a significant restructuring within the provincial bureaucracy. This overhaul includes the appointment of Syed Hasan Naqvi, a grade-21 officer, as the new Karachi commissioner, replacing Saleem Rajput who will now serve as Secretary Excise and Taxation.
Abu Bakar Ahmed has been entrusted with the role of DG Sindh Local Government Commission, while Asif Ikram takes on the responsibility of Secretary for Information and Technology. Furthermore, Raja Khurram Shehzad Umar has been designated as Secretary of the Investment Department, Muhammad Mureed as a member of the Provincial Election Authority, and Hafeez Ullah Abbasi as Secretary of the Labour Human Resource Department.
